Job Description
Make a meaningful impact by supporting student growth as an onsite Occupational Therapist in a collaborative school setting near Moreno Valley, CA. This full-time, contract opportunity is tailored for professionals passionate about promoting student independence and engagement in the classroom.
Your expertise will foster positive change for students, working hands-on within the school environment—no VOCO or hybrid models apply. As the primary OT, you’ll bring your school-based knowledge center stage, supporting learning and functional success without the need for a COTA.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California
- Demonstrated school-based OT experience (required)
- Proficient in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for a diverse student population
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Committed to working onsite; remote and hybrid arrangements are not available
- Able to independently manage caseload and documentation
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, onsite OT services to students across various grade levels
- Assess students’ motor skills, sensory needs, and functional abilities within an educational context
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with education professionals and families to optimize outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide training or resources to staff as needed, supporting school-wide inclusion efforts
