Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students across multiple schools for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person contract position as a school psychologist offers the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout a diverse K-12 caseload, districtwide. From August 2026 to June 2027, you’ll be working collaboratively within a supportive educational community.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience supporting K-12 student populations
- Strong skills in psychological assessment, data interpretation, and intervention strategy development
- Able to travel between multiple school sites within the district
- Collaborative approach when working with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Must be available for on-site (in-person) work throughout the contract period
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and consult on educational planning
- Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students
- Collaborate with educators and parents to create individualized educational and behavioral plans
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Promote safe, positive, and inclusive learning environments
- Use data and best practices to support student growth and well-being
- Travel between schools within the district as needed to serve assigned caseload
