School Psychologist in Bristol, CT

This full-time, in-person contract position as a school psychologist offers the chance to make a meaningful difference throughout a diverse K-12 caseload, districtwide. From August 2026 to June 2027, you’ll be working collaboratively within a supportive educational community.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience supporting K-12 student populations
• Strong skills in psychological assessment, data interpretation, and intervention strategy development
• Able to travel between multiple school sites within the district
• Collaborative approach when working with teachers, administrators, and families
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Must be available for on-site (in-person) work throughout the contract period
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations, behavioral assessments, and consult on educational planning
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention for students
• Collaborate with educators and parents to create individualized educational and behavioral plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Promote safe, positive, and inclusive learning environments
• Use data and best practices to support student growth and well-being
• Travel between schools within the district as needed to serve assigned caseload
