Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid certification or licensure as required by state education regulations
  • Prior experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in K-12 settings
  • Strong understanding of evaluation, assessment, and intervention techniques
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to supporting diverse learners and creating inclusive educational spaces

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to inform individualized educational planning
  • Deliver direct counseling services to students, individually or in groups, addressing academic, social, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support crisis intervention efforts and promote healthy social-emotional development throughout the school community
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation according to district and state guidelines
  • Offer guidance and training to school staff regarding mental health best practices
