Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy support in a high school environment near Des Plaines, IL. This position is ideal for an OT with a passion for helping students in grades 9–12 achieve their fullest potential. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours—Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Illinois
  • Experience working with high school students, particularly those with complex needs
  • Familiarity with school-based OT best practices and IEP processes
  • Ability to collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service staff
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group OT services for a caseload of approximately 18 students in grades 9–12
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
  • Support students with a range of needs, focusing on functional participation and access within the school setting
  • Engage in progress monitoring, record-keeping, and regular communication with educational teams
  • Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and staff regarding student accommodations and adaptations
