Job Description
Take advantage of an impactful part-time opportunity as a licensed Physical Therapist serving students in a supportive educational environment. This contract role offers the chance to provide essential physical therapy services, working closely with students, families, and school professionals to enhance student mobility, independence, and success.
Schedule for this role is Thursdays only from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch and a total seven-hour paid workday. The assignment extends from now through mid-June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to students, based on individualized education plans
- Assess students’ physical development, movement, and function to determine therapy needs
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans targeted to student goals
- Document all services, progress reports, and communication in compliance with school requirements
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, multidisciplinary staff, and families to ensure students’ success
- Support the educational mission by fostering students’ access and participation
Qualifications:
- Hold an active Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania
- Prior experience working with pediatric or school-age populations is preferred
- Strong strengths in collaboration, organization, and communication essential
- Dedication to respecting and meeting individual student needs
