This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional who thrives on managing competing priorities, maintaining organization, and contributing to a collaborative team. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and the opportunity to support a dynamic legal practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
- Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate court filings and electronic submissions while ensuring compliance with applicable deadlines and procedures.
- Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and other case-related events.
- Open new matters, maintain case files, and assist with records management throughout the matter lifecycle.
- Track critical deadlines and support attorneys with case and project management tasks.
- Process attorney time entries and assist with billing activities, client invoicing, and expense documentation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and document distribution.
- Manage incoming communications, mail, and requests from clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
- Support special projects and administrative initiatives as assigned.
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience, preferably supporting legal professionals.
- Experience working in a litigation, corporate legal, or professional services environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of legal document preparation, formatting, and proofreading.
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and electronic filing systems is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
