Step into a highly rewarding contract opportunity working full time as a Special Education Teacher supporting students in grades 9-12. This position runs from August 18, 2026, to June 3, 2027, with a Monday through Friday schedule. You'll be collaborating closely with a dedicated team, managing a cross-categorical caseload currently projected at 16-20 students, ensuring individualized support and academic growth.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification/license
• Demonstrated experience working with high school students with varied learning needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to a cross-categorical caseload of 16-20 students
• Develop, revise, and execute IEPs in collaboration with parents, staff, and administration
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure consistent growth
• Oversee and guide two educational assistants, promoting a collaborative classroom environment
• Foster strong relationships with students, families, and the wider educational team
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
