Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Special Education or related field
• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Experience working with middle school students in a resource or inclusive setting
• Strong knowledge of individualized education plans (IEPs) and best practices in differentiation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to foster positive relationships with students, families, and fellow educators

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to middle school students in a resource classroom
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to ensure appropriate accommodations
• Maintain progress records and prepare reports documenting student growth
• Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings and conferences
• Advocate for students and contribute to a safe, inclusive school environment
