This full-time, contract position focuses on the upcoming school year and provides the chance to make a meaningful difference working with students, educators, and families near Barrington, IL.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active state certification/licensure in School Psychology (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience or strong interest in working in K-12 educational settings
  • Familiarity with current best practices in assessment, special education processes, and behavioral interventions
  • Compassionate communication skills with students, teachers, and families
  • Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff in the development of positive behavioral interventions and supports
  • Advise on accommodations and modifications to help students reach their educational goals
  • Serve as an advocate for students and families, ensuring equity and access to resources
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and school-wide initiatives
