Position Overview
We are seeking an adaptable, collaborative, and student-centered educator for a unique hybrid General Education/Resource Teacher position. This role primarily serves 3rd-grade students while providing flexible resource support to 4th and 5th-grade students through both push-in and pull-out instructional models.
The ideal candidate is a proactive educator with strong classroom management skills who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction to a caseload of approximately 10–15 students, primarily in 3rd grade.
- Deliver specialized academic support using both push-in and pull-out service models.
- Adapt instruction to support students across 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades as needed.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote student success and inclusive practices.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate effectively with school staff and families.
- Establish a positive, structured learning environment with strong classroom management and high expectations.
- Advocate for student needs while contributing to a collaborative school culture.
Qualifications
- Valid New Hampshire teaching certification required.
- Special Education certification is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students in general education and/or resource settings preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to changing student and classroom needs.
- Strong team-player with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
