Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid LBS1 certification required
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education or a related field
• Classroom experience in a middle school setting strongly preferred
• Proven skills in creating differentiated instruction and IEP development
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaborative teaching

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and accommodations for students with a range of learning needs
• Develop, implement, and progress-monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families to ensure student success
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and ongoing professional development
• Contribute to a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where each student feels valued and encouraged
