Make a meaningful impact supporting students across grades K-7 as a Special Education Resource Teacher for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This is a full-time contract opportunity for passionate educators eager to provide crucial support in a collaborative school community. Three positions are available: one focusing on kindergarten, another on grades 1-2, and a third serving as a 7th-grade resource and case manager.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification
  • Experience working with students in a resource teaching or case management capacity
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Knowledge of evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior management
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
  • Previous experience with elementary and/or middle school students preferred
  • Ability to work fully onsite throughout the school year

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver individualized instruction to K-7 students in resource settings
  • Develop, update, and track progress on IEPs, maintaining compliance
  • Empower students to achieve academic and social goals through differentiated strategies
  • Communicate frequently with stakeholders, including parents and general education teachers
  • Provide case management support: monitoring student progress, attending IEP meetings, and recommending resources
  • Participate actively in professional development, school meetings, and team planning
