\nWe are seeking a motivated and skilled *Civil Defense Litigation Associate* with *3 - 8 years of experience* to join our Firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who is looking to take ownership of their cases, build strong litigation experience, and grow within a dynamic and expanding firm.\n
\n
\n*Key Responsibilities*\n
\n
\n* Manage a caseload of general civil defense matters from inception through resolution\n
\n* Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery\n
\n* Take and defend depositions\n
\n* Attend court conferences, hearings, and mediations\n
\n* Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy\n
\n* Maintain strong client communication and deliver high-quality legal work\n
\n
\n*Qualifications*\n
\n
\n* *J.D. from an accredited law school*\n
\n* *Admitted to practice in Connecticut*\n
\n* *3- 8 years of civil defense litigation experience*\n
\n* Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills\n
\n* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n
\n* Additional state bar admission(s) a plus (CT, NJ, MA, PA, or VT preferred)\n

\n*Compensation & Benefits*\n

\n* *Salary range: $140,000 – $180,000+*, commensurate with experience and qualifications\n
