Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-Month Assignment)
Pay Rate: Starting at $62.57 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Shift rotation may be required)

Turn Engineering Expertise into Production Success
As a Liaison Engineer, you'll serve as the critical connection between design engineering and manufacturing operations. Working directly on the factory floor, you'll help resolve production challenges, support aircraft builds, and ensure engineering requirements are successfully translated into safe, high-quality products.
Your work will directly influence aircraft quality, manufacturing efficiency, and operational excellence while supporting some of the most advanced aviation programs in the industry.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
- Analyze and resolve production non-conformances through engineering evaluation and root cause analysis
- Develop engineering dispositions and corrective actions for manufacturing issues
- Apply aircraft design principles to support product and process improvements
- Investigate technical, operational, manufacturing, and quality concerns throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify deviations that may affect safety, quality, or design intent and develop resolution plans
- Participate in engineering design reviews and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
- Represent engineering throughout production and post-production activities
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and build partners
- Support supplier compliance with engineering and quality standards
- Develop technical communications supporting continued safe operation and maintenance
- Participate in aircraft repair activities, accident investigations, and product support efforts
- Analyze structural damage and modifications to determine appropriate repair methods
- Design interim structural repairs and perform static strength assessments
- Develop non-destructive testing procedures, standards, and tools
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited (or equivalent) institution
- 9+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Structures Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Design Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams
- Ability to interpret engineering requirements and develop practical production solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic manufacturing environment
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following qualifications will stand out:
- 9+ years of Material Review Board (MRB) experience related to aircraft structures or systems
- Prior Engineering MRB Certification
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing processes and materials
- Aerospace or commercial aircraft production support experience
- Knowledge of aircraft structural repairs and airworthiness requirements
- Experience supporting factory operations and production issue resolution
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite and offers substantial hands-on involvement in aircraft production.
You'll regularly work in:
- Aircraft manufacturing facilities
- Active production environments
- Areas with elevated noise levels
- Aircraft assembly and build locations
- Industrial settings requiring movement around stairs, platforms, and manufacturing equipment
This role also includes participation in an approximately 9-month training rotation program, which may involve:
- First, second, or third shift assignments
- Weekend work and overtime when required
- Travel between production locations
- Exposure to multiple manufacturing environments and aircraft programs

Pay Details: $62.57 per hour
