Job Description

Job Overview: Pay Range: $41.38hr - $46.38hr Requirement/Must Have: Experience with product and process qualifications for complex parts and assemblies. Knowledge of Manufacturing Process Plans (MPP), Product and Process Quality Plans (PQP), control plans, and inspection plans. Understanding of CTQ (critical-to-quality) requirements, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements. Experience with first article inspection (FAI) and monitoring process capability. Ability to lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA (design and process) with suppliers. Responsibilities: Partner with Sourcing and Engineering to qualify, approve, and develop suppliers in alignment with sourcing strategy. Focus on diversified small parts as part of industrialization efforts for gas turbine modules including compressor, combustor, and turbine modules. Define and execute product and process qualifications to ensure readiness for serial production. Review and approve Manufacturing Process Plans, Product and Process Quality Plans, and inspection plans for assigned components. Ensure requirements are correctly translated into supplier process controls and inspection methods. Validate first article inspection and ongoing product verification while monitoring process capability. Manage and approve Supplier Deviation Requests (SDRs) ensuring risk is assessed and documented. Drive the evaluation and disposition of supplier nonconformances in coordination with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sourcing teams. Lead containment, rework, and recovery actions at supplier facilities and assembly sites. Analyze Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) data and field feedback to identify systemic improvement opportunities. Conduct quality system, product, and process audits at supplier sites to verify compliance with QMS requirements. Skills: Supplier Quality Engineering. Product Qualification. Process Qualification.
