Job Summary
A growing logistics and freight organization in Torrance, CA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to generate new business, build strong client relationships, and deliver customized freight solutions. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a sales-driven professional with freight or logistics experience who enjoys prospecting, negotiating, and closing business in a fast-paced transportation environment.
The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with operations to ensure customers receive responsive service, accurate pricing support, and dependable freight solutions. This role offers strong earning potential, commission opportunity, and a path to permanent employment with long-term career growth. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new business through outbound calls, emails, referrals, and ongoing customer outreach.
- Build, manage, and strengthen customer relationships within the freight, logistics, and transportation market.
- Prepare quotes for operations, negotiate freight rates, and close new sales opportunities.
- Manage sales pipeline activity, customer follow-up, and CRM documentation.
- Partner with operations to deliver excellent service and customized freight solutions.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales, revenue, and profit goals.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $30 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
- Bonus: Commission available as a bonus.
- Job Type: Temp-to-hire.
- Work Location: Torrance, CA.
- Work Arrangement: 100 percent on site.
