Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Special Education Teacher in Wisconsin (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience or training with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt and tailor instruction for a cross-categorical caseload
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for high school students
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the varying needs of your caseload
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
- Support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
