In this role, you’ll lead a cross-categorical caseload of high school students (grades 9-12), with approximately 16–20 students, supported by two dedicated educational assistants. You’ll be instrumental in shaping student success during the 2026–2027 school year, working Monday through Friday from August 18, 2026, to June 3, 2027.

Qualifications:

  • Active Wisconsin Special Education Teacher certification/license required
  • Experience supporting high school students across a range of categories is highly valued
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt lesson plans for individual needs

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive instruction for a cross-categorical caseload
  • Collaborate with educational assistants to maximize student support
  • Monitor IEPs, progress, and participate in meetings with staff and families
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom environment
