Desired Background:

  • Master’s degree required in a related field
  • Valid PEL (Professional Educator License) with LBS1 endorsement
  • Experience working within a school setting, particularly with elementary-aged children

Key Duties:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ needs
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching methods for diverse learning abilities
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and families
  • Provide direct instruction and support for students in both small groups and classroom settings
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and document required reports
  • Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
