Make a valuable impact supporting young learners as a school psychologist throughout the beginning of the academic year until early December. This contract opportunity, scheduled for three days per week, focuses on working within early learning environments and playing a vital role in the evaluation process while contributing to the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework.

Your expertise will help shape individualized strategies and interventions for students, collaborating with educators and supporting student development from the earliest stages. If you hold a current MDE School Psychologist License and have a passion for guiding young children’s success, this engaging setting provides a terrific avenue for professional growth.

Ideal background and skills:

  • Valid MDE School Psychologist License required
  • Previous experience within early learning settings highly valued
  • Strong background in conducting evaluations and assessments for young children
  • Familiarity supporting MTSS and working alongside intervention teams

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete comprehensive psychological and developmental evaluations for early learners
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

  • Document findings and communicate recommendations to educational teams
  • Participate in planning meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement of student supports
  • Provide crisis support and guidance as needed
