Position Details

• Location: Various school districts throughout South Carolina
• Position Type: Full-Time Travel Assignment
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 35–40 hours per week
• Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, and High School opportunities available
• Caseloads: Resource, Inclusion, Self-Contained, and Specialized Programs (placement based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster an inclusive and positive learning environment

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain)
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or related field
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to relocate or travel for the duration of the assignment
