Make an impact in the lives of young learners by providing on-site school psychologist services in a supportive educational environment. The selected professional will focus on Pre-K students, working closely with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team to guide successful transitions into the school setting and foster social-emotional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Indiana licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with early childhood, Pre-K, or special education preferred
  • Strong background in behavioral interventions and progress monitoring for young learners
  • Effective communicator with teachers, caregivers, and interdisciplinary staff
  • Ability to deliver evidence-based practices in a school-based setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver First Step Transition behavioral intervention services that encourage school readiness and positive classroom environments for Pre-K students
  • Implement the First Step Transition program, including direct behavioral coaching, teacher support, and collaborative progress monitoring
  • Provide transition support for children beginning their school journey, working alongside multidisciplinary professionals (OT, PT, SLP, Autism Consultant, nurse, and others)
  • Conduct preschool evaluations and provide behavioral consultation as part of a team
  • Engage families in the intervention and transition process through clear communication and ongoing support
  • Manage a typical caseload of approximately 70 Pre-K students, with some flexibility for additional hours as needed
  • Work on-site from August 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027; standard workweek is 35 hours
