Job Description

As a valued member of the school’s educational team, you will utilize your expertise to provide essential psychological services to students, staff, and families. Your role will be vital in fostering a positive learning environment and promoting student well-being.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement required
- Professional experience as a School Psychologist in K-12 settings is highly preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to equitable practices and cultural competency
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic assessments to identify students’ strengths and support needs
- Develop evidence-based intervention strategies to address academic, emotional, and behavioral concerns
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Provide counseling, guidance, and crisis intervention as needed
- Stay current with legal and ethical standards in school psychology
