Special Education Teacher | Daly City, California

Qualifications & Credentials:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Mild/Moderate credential required
• Moderate/Severe and Autism credential also accepted
• Experience working with PreK-5th grade students strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt curriculum, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and foster positive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, modify, and deliver individualized instruction for a diverse student caseload with mild to severe needs
• Write and implement IEPs in collaboration with families and school staff
• Track student progress and maintain thorough documentation
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and assistive technology as appropriate
• Communicate regularly with parents, support staff, and administrators to ensure consistent, effective interventions
• Participate in team meetings, staff development, and ongoing professional learning
