As a Special Education Teacher, you'll enjoy a consistent daytime schedule of 8:45am to 4:15pm, totaling 37.5 hours each week. You’ll work directly with a caseload of up to 14 students, providing tailored instruction, case management, and individual support to help each student thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of up to 14 students with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Develop, write, and update IEPs in collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor and document student progress, adapting instructional strategies as needed
- Attend and contribute to meetings, including annual reviews and staff discussions
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and growth-oriented classroom environment

- Valid Special Education Teaching Certification, or eligibility in the state
