Job Description

- Elementary Behavior Program
- Elementary Adaptive Program
- Middle School Resource
- Middle School Behavior Program
- K-8 Behavior Program
Key Qualifications:
- Current Arizona DOE Standard K-12 Certification
- Active fingerprint clearance card
- Experience in at least one of the specified teaching areas
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment term
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans aligned with student needs
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support teams, and families
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based instruction and positive behavior supports
- Track, report, and document student progress and outcomes
- Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and required district trainings
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and federal guidelines
Assignment Details:
- Contract runs from July 29, 2026, through May 20, 2027 (student days)
- New teacher orientation: July 20, 2026 – May 21, 2027 (teacher days)
- Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
