Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
• Valid state certification as a School Psychologist
• Prior experience working within a school setting (practicum/internship included)
• Familiarity with various psychological assessments, intervention strategies, and behavioral management techniques
• Strong communication and consultation skills for working with staff and families
• Ability to adhere to professional, legal, and ethical standards in all practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments
• Develop and help implement individualized education programs (IEPs), behavior intervention plans, and 504 plans
• Provide short-term individual and group counseling to address students’ needs
• Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments
• Participate as a valued member of multidisciplinary teams during eligibility, review, and reevaluation meetings
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
