Work Hours: Standard College hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm; Additional hours, including evening and weekend hours, may be needed to meet the needs of the department.\n

General Summary: This position is responsible for project management, annual and quarterly reporting, evaluation, and supervision of major tasks. Direct the Title III Program in compliance with U.S. Department of Education Title III regulations. Responsible for developing and implementing all program components. Work with Title III staff on implementation and provide guidance on achieving the measurable objectives. Supports the Academic Dean of Humanities, Mathematics and Social Sciences as well as the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services and Student Affairs in the successful deployment of strategic initiatives, including the design, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of programs and services of the disciplines.\n

\nWithin the division: Provides oversight for day-to-day support for division faculty. Supervises and conducts all needed evaluations. Provides support for developmental education. Oversee the REACH Mathematics Facilitator, Reading/Writing Facilitator, and REACH Steering Committee. Member of the following: Chair, REACH Steering Committee, and REACH Evaluation Team.\n

\nGrant Summary: Retain, Educate, Assess, Care, and Help (REACH) Grant is a student intervention model for retention and success specifically designed to support the success of all new students. Information about REACH will be made available through the CCAC website, which complies with accessibility standards, brochures, presentations, and publications. Successful implementation of REACH will provide: (1) students with the necessary skills in reading, writing, and mathematics to successfully complete Gateway courses; (2) professional development to enhance student support in writing and mathematics and for academic advisors; and (3) staffing to organize orientation and campus engagement as well as help students identify resources in order to meet academic and career-related goals\n

Requirements:\n
\n
\nMaster's degree in humanities, mathematics, and/or social sciences or related field required. Five years successful supervision, fiscal and project management experience. Experience with working with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Experience with college-level developmental education. Previous higher education experience advising or teaching students preferred.\n

Duties: \n
\n
    \n
  1. Establish and oversee a Title III Steering Committee to guide project implementation.
  2. \n
  3. Create bi-monthly sharing reports identifying integration of REACH grant initiatives into the institution and communicate project implementation to entire College community.
  4. \n
  5. Participate in committees to embed program components throughout CCAC
  6. \n
  7. Responsible for the oversight and management of project funds to ensure all expenditures are based on the proposed project and support the outcomes that were proposed and approved by the funding agency.
  8. \n
  9. Provide direct supervision of the full-time and part-time REACH staff.
  10. \n
  11. Work with project partners in collaboration with the staff to ensure programmatic and fiscal contractual obligations support the overall mission of the project.
  12. \n
  13. Manage and monitor overall progress of the project, including project financial information and implementation timelines for project activities.
  14. \n
  15. Coordinate the reporting process and prepare cumulative performance and assist with financial reports for submission to the funding agency in collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research.
  16. \n
  17. Create, review and approve contract documents with existing partners and stakeholder organizations as necessary in collaboration with CCAC Administration officials.
  18. \n
  19. Maintain accurate and accessible project repository for the organization of all project documentation relating to fiscal and contractual responsibilities in collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research.
  20. \n
  21. Work on programmatic design that facilitates sustainability of the program after the expiration of grant funding and investigate additional grant funding opportunities to enhance project goals and outcomes in in collaboration with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research.
  22. \n
  23. Collaborate with CCAC Institutional Research Department to collect data for reporting and participant tracking.
  24. \n
  25. Ensure all needed data is collected and performance reporting requirements are met on time.
  26. \n
  27. Attend meetings as scheduled and serve on college committees related to grant project.
  28. \n
  29. Additional programmatic/financial/administrative duties as assigned or as required.
