Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Current and active Illinois School Psychologist certification (Professional Educator License - PEL)
• Experience providing psychological services in school settings preferred
• Strong ability to assess, interpret, and communicate evaluation results
• Well-versed in developing and implementing behavioral and academic interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to supporting a diverse student population
• Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and evaluations to support special education eligibility and service planning
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and indirect psychological services to students, including counseling and consultation
• Implement and support evidence-based interventions for academic and behavioral challenges
• Provide crisis intervention and participate in team meetings as needed
• Maintain clear documentation and help foster a safe, inclusive learning environment
• Stay current with best practices, state guidelines, and continuing education requirements
