School-Based Physical Therapist - Winter Garden, FL

Qualifications & Desired Background:

• Active Professional Florida Physical Therapist license required
• School-based experience is highly valued, though not mandatory
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel between assigned schools as an itinerant PT
• Comfortable serving K-12 populations, including some Pre-K students
• Reliable completion of the district’s credentialing and onboarding requirements
• Flexibility to work full days or coordinate with colleagues for part-time coverage

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services (direct and consult) to a diverse caseload of students with varying needs
• Coordinate daily itinerant schedules—serving 2–3 schools per day, typically
• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain thorough documentation in line with district and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and student progress evaluations
• Participate in professional development and training as required
