About the Position

A respected, physician-led regional healthcare organization in Central Washington is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Outpatient Endocrinology team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced endocrinologists in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to advanced technology and strong clinical support.

Please Note: No new graduates. Prior APP experience is required.

Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic endocrine disorders.
  • \n
  • Focus primarily on the management of diabetes mellitus, including patients utilizing insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) devices.
  • \n
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical examinations for new endocrinology patients.
  • \n
  • Order and interpret laboratory, radiology, nuclear medicine, and CGM diagnostic studies.
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans following evidence-based guidelines from organizations such as the Endocrine Society, AACE, and ATA under the guidance of endocrinologists.
  • \n
  • Manage additional endocrine conditions including thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, gender-affirming care, and other endocrine disorders.
  • \n
  • Prescribe medications and perform office procedures within scope of practice.
  • \n
  • Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team while participating in quality improvement initiatives and clinical planning.

  • Maintain current BLS (CPR) certification.
  • \n
