Key Qualifications:

  • Valid LBS1 certification is required
  • Demonstrated experience or training in special education practices
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong skills in classroom management and individualized instruction
  • Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver direct instruction and provide academic support to students with varying disabilities across designated learning (DL) settings
  • Create and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with families and school teams
  • Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate records
  • Implement behavior support strategies tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure an inclusive environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance, goals, and strategies
