Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching license (TABS 3-5 certification for the 2026-27 school year)
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher (K-12, preferred for grades 3-5)
- Strong classroom and behavioral management skills
- Adaptability and resourcefulness in diverse classroom settings
- Genuine passion for supporting students with special needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities in grades 3-5
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs and learning goals
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate records, track student progress, and communicate regularly with key stakeholders
- Participate in school meetings and remain engaged in continuous professional learning
