Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education (or related field)
• Valid teaching certification for special education
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly in grades 1-4
• Strong classroom management skills and ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning needs
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students in grades 1-4 with varying special education needs
• Develop and follow individualized lesson plans, adapting strategies to meet each student's goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and other specialists
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports for each student
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing team discussions for student success
• Cultivate a positive learning environment where every child feels valued and supported
