Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid special education teaching certification required
• Experience working with students with learning and executive functioning deficits
• Proficiency in adapting curriculum in reading and math for small groups
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for partnership with grade-level teachers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction in reading, math, and executive functioning to a focused group of 5th graders
• Plan, implement, and modify lessons in coordination with the grade-level team
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Participate in planning meetings, IEP reviews, and collaborate on student goals
• Maintain accurate records in alignment with school protocols

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule aligned with school hours: 7:55AM-3:25PM, with most instructional times occurring between 8:30AM and 2:45PM.
