Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement.
- Prior experience conducting psychological and educational assessments across a range of student ages (EC-8th grade).
- Strong skills in consultation, data analysis, and developing actionable student support plans.
- Confident communicator, adept at leading and participating in meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Full school year contract with stable, weekday hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7.5 hours per day, lunch included).
- Serve at two locations: Complete ECAT evaluations and attend meetings for part of your week in Vernon Hills; fulfill regular school psychologist responsibilities in Lake Villa for the balance.
- Address the needs of diverse learners, collaborating with special education and general classroom staff.
- Help drive positive outcomes by participating in eligibility determination meetings, writing reports, and guiding interventions.
- Cultivate productive partnerships with teachers, families, and administrators.
