Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Prior experience conducting psychological and educational assessments across a range of student ages (EC-8th grade).
• Strong skills in consultation, data analysis, and developing actionable student support plans.
• Confident communicator, adept at leading and participating in meetings with multidisciplinary teams.

Position Details & Responsibilities:

• Full school year contract with stable, weekday hours: 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM (7.5 hours per day, lunch included).
• Serve at two locations: Complete ECAT evaluations and attend meetings for part of your week in Vernon Hills; fulfill regular school psychologist responsibilities in Lake Villa for the balance.
• Address the needs of diverse learners, collaborating with special education and general classroom staff.
• Help drive positive outcomes by participating in eligibility determination meetings, writing reports, and guiding interventions.
• Cultivate productive partnerships with teachers, families, and administrators.
