Step into a meaningful contract role supporting young learners as an on-site School Psychologist. In this position, you'll play a pivotal part in the transition of Pre-K students, providing targeted behavioral interventions and collaborating with educators and families. This school year opportunity spans August 14, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with a primary commitment of 35 hours weekly—and the potential for occasional additional hours to best serve student needs.

What You'll Contribute:

  • Deliver First Step Transition behavioral intervention services to Pre-K students, fostering school readiness and positive classroom behaviors.
  • Serve a caseload of approximately 70 students in a specialized preschool environment for children with unique needs and abilities.
  • Lead teacher consultations, behavioral coaching, ongoing progress monitoring, and active collaboration with families.
  • Guide children and caregivers through early school experiences, including two-day multidisciplinary testing events.
  • Partner closely with a diverse professional team—school psychologists, occupational and physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, autism consultants, teachers, nurses—to deliver comprehensive evaluations and individualized support.
  • Concentrate on Pre-K behavioral interventions with a focus on evidence-based practice and seamless transitions into the school setting.
  • Engage in classroom consultation, family communication, and collaborative problem-solving to address a wide range of developmental and behavioral needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute actively to program improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience Desired:

  • Certification and/or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with Pre-K or early childhood populations preferred.
  • Strong skills in early intervention, behavioral coaching, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to provide on-site support (no remote or VOCO options).
  • Commitment to supporting students with varying abilities in a specialized preschool setting.
