Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience in administering assessments, interpreting results, and developing intervention strategies
• Familiarity with the special education process and IEP meetings
• Strong communication and consultation skills for working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and compassionately

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments to determine student needs
• Collaborate with school teams to develop evidence-based intervention and support plans
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams for eligibility and placement decisions
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention for students as necessary
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Offer consultative services to teachers and parents, ensuring best practices in instructional and behavioral strategies
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and responsive school climate
