Step into a pivotal role supporting students’ success for the 2026-2027 academic year as a full-time school psychologist. This contract opportunity offers a fulfilling chance to provide on-site services at 37.5 hours per week, with the possibility that hybrid arrangements may be considered. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current and active Illinois School Psychologist Certificate (PEL)
- Previous experience or strong internship background in a school psychology setting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to diverse caseload needs (final caseload assignments to be determined)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to confidentiality
- Dedicated to supporting the needs and development of students and staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret data to inform educational decisions
- Provide direct intervention, counseling, and support to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized education plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student behavior, learning strategies, and mental health
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Serve as a trusted resource for crisis intervention and support
