What we’re seeking:
- Valid and active Illinois School Psychologist Certification (Professional Educator License - PEL)
- Prior experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong consultative, assessment, and intervention skills
- Ability to interpret data and develop reports to guide student services
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Adaptable mindset for caseloads and assignments, which will be determined by district needs
Primary responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students, utilizing a variety of assessment tools
- Contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
- Provide direct and indirect counseling and behavioral supports for students
- Develop intervention strategies geared toward improving student achievement and social-emotional well-being
- Consult with educators, administrators, and parents to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Assist with crisis prevention and response initiatives within the school community
- Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with educational standards and regulations
This role is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week onsite, with potential hybrid options being considered. Caseload details will be determined in collaboration with the district.
