Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist interested in supporting K-12 students across multiple charter schools near Fort Lauderdale, FL! Embrace flexible, part-time hours and the potential to provide services virtually while making a positive impact on student learning and daily functioning. This contract position begins August 10th and offers a chance to work with diverse school communities in South Florida.

Key Qualifications:

  • State licensure and credentials required for Occupational Therapists in Florida
  • Experience delivering OT services within school settings (K-12 population preferred)
  • Digital proficiency and comfort using teletherapy platforms for VOCO (virtual/online) services
  • Excellent time management skills to accommodate multiple school schedules
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities
  • Candidates with school-based or pediatric therapy backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students at Bonita Springs Charter (30 mins/week), Innovation Prep (2-3 hours/week), and Dural campuses (30 & 90 mins/week)
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, school support staff, and parents to enhance student participation and outcomes
  • Complete documentation and reporting requirements in a timely manner, aligning with school and legal standards
  • Participate in meetings and provide recommendations to support students’ educational goals
  • Flexibility to work on-site or utilize VOCO (virtual care option) upon meeting credentialing requirements
