Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active respiratory therapy license in accordance with state regulations
- Proven clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting
- Strong understanding of respiratory care techniques, equipment operation, and monitoring procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care for patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions
- Operate and trouble-shoot ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, aerosol therapy equipment, and related apparatus
- Collect and interpret arterial blood gases and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory therapies and self-care techniques
- Document all care administered and clinical changes in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and developments in respiratory care
