The Wealth Advisory Accountant will report to the Managing Director of Financial Advisory Services. This individual will collaborate closely with Wealth Advisors, Financial Advisors, Certified Public Accountants, Enrolled Agents, Money Managers, investment professionals, estate planning specialists, and client service teams. While direct supervisory responsibilities may be limited initially, this person will serve as a valued technical resource and mentor across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with Wealth Advisors, Financial Advisors, CPAs, EAs, investment teams, and estate planning professionals to develop integrated wealth management strategies.
- Analyze client financial information, including assets, liabilities, cash flow, investment holdings, and business interests.
- Support tax-efficient planning initiatives related to retirement, estate planning, charitable giving, and wealth preservation.
- Prepare client-facing financial analyses, planning reports, and recommendations that simplify complex financial matters.
- Participate in portfolio review discussions and help clients understand the impact of investment and tax planning decisions.
- Monitor changes in client circumstances and recommend adjustments to financial planning strategies as needed.
- Educate clients on financial planning concepts, investment opportunities, and wealth management solutions.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, ethical standards, and internal quality expectations.
- Assist with process improvements, knowledge sharing, professional development initiatives, and best practice implementation within the advisory team.
- Build strong working relationships with advisory, operations, administrative, and client service professionals to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Contribute to departmental growth by supporting workflow management, operational effectiveness, and service excellence initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in public accounting, wealth management, financial advisory services, tax planning, or a related environment.
- CPA, Certified Public Accountant, Enrolled Agent (EA), CFP or similar professional credential preferred.
- Experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, families, executives, or privately held business owners.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, tax strategy, retirement planning, investment management, and wealth preservation concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Wealth Advisors, Financial Advisors, Money Managers, and other professional service providers.
- Experience utilizing financial planning software, CRM platforms, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to convert complex financial information into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, continuing education, and technical growth.
