Qualifications:

• Active Mild/Moderate Education Specialist credential
• Additional Mod/Severe and/or Autism Authorization preferred
• Previous experience working with elementary and preschool-age children
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with diverse learning needs
• Employ differentiated instructional strategies and accommodations to foster academic and social growth
• Maintain ongoing communication with parents, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Collect and document student progress, making data-driven instructional decisions
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives
• Adapt to various caseloads and collaborate with teaching teams across PreK-5 as needed
