Key Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin licensure in cross-categorical special education, or eligibility to obtain a reciprocal license with current out-of-state credentials
- Passion for working with high school students who have diverse needs
- Previous school-based experience is valued, though enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Ability to collaborate with fellow educators, support staff, and families
- Full-time availability, beginning mid-August for the 2024–2025 school year
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and areas of need
- Deliver engaging lessons and provide accommodations to ensure student success
- Monitor progress and adjust instruction as necessary
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and team members about student growth
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
