Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- State-issued School Psychologist certification or licensure
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with assessment tools, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to address student needs
- Assist with crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Support positive behavioral interventions and academic planning
