Desired Qualifications:
- Completed Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- Solid understanding of special education processes and legal requirements
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Exceptional communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Experience working with diverse student populations preferred
- Flexibility to travel between school locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support student learning and well-being
- Develop data-driven recommendations and collaborate on IEP teams
- Provide individual and group counseling to address academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to deliver evidence-based supports
- Participate in the implementation of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS)
- Contribute to crisis prevention and intervention efforts, fostering safe and positive school climates
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines
