School Psychologist | Irwin, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact as a School Psychologist supporting students and staff at a thriving elementary center. This onsite contract opportunity offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time professionals (minimum three days per week) and covers a period from now through June 11, 2027. Initially, you will provide crucial support during a maternity leave until January 19, 2027 (date subject to change). If the returning staff member resumes in January, you'll remain an essential asset, transitioning to a floating role to focus on evaluations, adult education, and related duties in the second semester.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Pennsylvania School Psychologist Educator Certificate is required
• Experience delivering psychological assessments, counseling, and consultative services in a K-12 environment
• Strong collaborative skills to partner with educators, students, and families
• Ability to interpret assessment data and develop actionable recommendations
• Effective communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to perform both assigned leave coverage and evolving floating responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments
• Support the completion of IEPs, 504 plans, and intervention strategies
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
• Maintain accurate records and complete all documentation in a timely manner
• Contribute expertise across different educational programs, including evaluations for adult education if assigned
