A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist seeking a part-time role supporting students in an educational setting. This position is based in a school located near Pottstown, PA, with a consistent schedule on Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. You’ll play a vital part in helping students reach their educational and developmental milestones by delivering specialized physical therapy services.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Pennsylvania State License in Physical Therapy required
  • Experience working with children or in school-based settings is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in assessing physical development, functional movement, and writing individualized therapy plans
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, faculty, and families
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, progress notes, and service documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively on an interdisciplinary team

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized physical therapy services to assigned students
  • Evaluate students’ physical needs and capabilities to inform therapy planning
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to support students’ educational objectives
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation, service logs, and progress reports
  • Contribute insights in meetings with school teams to help students access their education
  • Adapt therapy interventions to meet students’ changing requirements throughout the school year
