Radiologic Technologist in Milwaukee, WI

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
• State license in radiologic technology, as required
• Demonstrated expertise in general X-ray procedures and imaging protocols
• Proficient with modern imaging equipment and digital radiography
• Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
• Attention to safety standards and infection control procedures
• Previous hospital or clinic experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams following physician orders and established protocols
• Position patients correctly, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety throughout exams
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment, ensuring proper functioning
• Process and review images for clarity and diagnostic value, assisting with image archiving as needed
• Accurately document procedures in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure high standards of patient care
• Comply with all regulatory, quality, and safety guidelines
